COVID-19 – Important Changes to Registration Services

Following the announcement by the Government on Monday 23 March, please be advised that all ceremonies and notice of marriage appointments will NOT be taking place over the next 3 weeks. 

Couples who have ceremonies taking place within this period will be contacted by the Wedding Coordination Team with further information regarding their options.  

Should you have any queries in relation to your ceremony, or marriage and civil partnerships in general, please contact us by email at Alnwickreg@northumberland.gov.uk   Please be aware that we are dealing with a significant increase in call and email volumes as the current situation regarding Covid-19 evolves.  Your patience at this time would be greatly appreciated, and be assured that we will aim to respond to all emails within two working days of receipt.
